Stoves are technical pieces of furniture that need to be installed by a competent person HETAS (the solid fuel equivalent to CORGI) assess and train companies to install solid fuel appliances to current building regulations. Once the correct appliance has been chosen and installed and the correct chimney parts used the installer can then 'sign off' the installation giving you a certificate. You will need this certificate when a) you sell your house or b) if you have an insurance claim caused by the stove or its installation.

For many years Dunsley dealt mainly in the manufacture of solid fuel open fires and boilers however as tastes change and needs evolve we have recognised this fact and created 2 different types of Multi-fuel and Woodburning Stoves;
The Highlander range of Stoves, and the newly developed Dunsley Avance 400 & 500 with their large viewing window and contemporary design. The Highlander range includes 'Enviroburn' technology on many of it's models to enable the user to burn wood in smoke-controlled areas.

All our stoves are manufactured to the highest standards in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, using top quality materials and components.
