The Highlander is a traditional wood burning and solid fuel stove manufactured
    from the finest materials, finished in a heat resistance metallic black stove
    enamel paint and fitted with brass handles as standard, Ref No. 00320. Black
    handles are available on request. The firebox is lined with high temperature
    firebrick, the bricks have been pressure cast for longer life.

    The super air wash system helps to keep the glass clean to view the warm dancing
    flames. The highly efficient Highlander with its clean looks and full view window will
    make a focal point of any room.

HOW IT WORKS:

The highlander has two controls. The one above the main door controls the amount of air required for the air wash system by sliding to open the air inlet holes which then pre-heat the air before directing down over the inside of the glass. This keeps the product of combustion away from the glass and increases efficiency.


The control below the main door is to adjust the amount of air required for combustion purposes. The most suitable setting will quickly be found for the various fuels you burn by moving the slide slowly to the right for more air to the left for less air.
